My Experiences

I had the pleasure of attending a couple of the marching bands rehearsals. They rehearse every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during football season. At the rehearsals, I noticed a few things.

1. The band has Fun.
2. They are like one big family.
3. They listen to Carl Collins as he teaches and you can tell they really want to improve.

I could tell the students were having fun because most of them were smiling and even dancing while they were playing. After the rehearsal was over, the students came together, got in a circle, locked arms, and sang "My Old Kentucky Home." It was obvious that they were all very close and had a lot of fun.
